Visual Learning Systems: Digital Science Online {Schoolhouse Crew Review }

Science is one of the most loved school subjects by my children. It’s interesting, hands-on, and exciting. In learning by observation and through experiments they are getting answers to the hows and whys of how things work. Science gives one the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills, pursue scientific interest further, and make informative decisions. In understanding the importance of science and its benefits, I’m more than delighted to have discovered Visual Learning Systems, an educational science publisher that offers top-quality visual curriculum for grades Primary all the way through High-school.

As part of the Schoolhouse Crew Review team, I’ve been given the opportunity to share my thoughts upon Visual Learning Systems Digital Science Online: Elementary Edition (Grades K-5) curriculum (Digital Science Online: Secondary Edition (Grades 6-12) is also available). I’d been on the look out for science curriculum to use during the 2015-2016 school year that I could make work for both my children. I was having a hard time deciding, weighing many pros and cons. I’ll admit that this review opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time. This particular edition includes primary as well as elementary science which works perfectly for my 4 and 6 year old. Our New Car is Home At Last

Today it has been one month since our car accident. I’m pleased to share that as of yesterday, we finally have a new to us 2007 Maroon colored Ford Taurus.  It’s been quite the hassle to acquire it! If it wasn’t for our early tax refund coming back, we would still be without and paying daily fees for a rental car.  We’ve yet to get the money for our totaled car from the accident. A few more phone calls may need to happen, if not by Monday. Bills are starting to pile up! Firmly standing that God will provide for all of our needs. Continue reading
