The Couponizer Review

I was not incredibly happy with my past organization system for coupons. My normal day at the grocery store consisted of me digging through a too small envelope with many coupons becoming disorganized as I dug. Sometimes through my digging, coupons would get lost and fall upon the floor. My good deed to helping my family save was becoming a huge hassle! I learned about The Couponizer and was given an opportunity to review it myself. Basically the Couponizer is a fantastic organizational tool created by Amy Bergin with the help of her husband; she set out to help us save time and money to make our lives a bit easier!

It’s really easy to use! So, let me enlighten you on how it works!

First things first, you need to go through your local coupons ads or wherever else you happen to get those wonderful money saving deals and clip or print out your coupons!

Next you can use the CoupStacker! This allows you to pre-sort your coupons by categories. I found that this saved me so much time and the idea of it is pure genius.

After you are finished clipping with the nifty included scissors and categorizing with the CoupStacker, you can now open your Couponizer book. Now is when you can file your coupons in the Pre-labeled category pockets.

That’s basically it but there are some extras that I really like! There’s a section to file coupons that will expire this month and also a pocket to store coupons to be used on this shopping trip! I said it before and I’ll say it again, pure coupon2genius. Can you imagine how much time this would save most people?

My personal favorite feature is that there is a place for receipts and a CoupTracker. The CoupTracker basically is there to help you keep track of your spending. This is great for us that are trying to stick to a budget and I’m sure that this good for us that are already trying to save using coupons! Another great thing is that The Couponizer also comes in nice plastic bag for you to protect it!

Let’s say you need a new CoupStacker or refills for the CoupTracker, no problem you can buy refills for incredibly affordable prices on their site.

The Couponizer retails for $19.95. It’s completely worth is because for just using it myself for over a month now, I’ve saved clear over $200 with using coupons alone! It pays for itself!

The Slanket Review

I’m naturally always cold so the heating bill is probably a little higher than it should be.  Most days you’ll find me around the house with a  blanket wrapped over my shoulders try to keep warm, I imagine I look pretty silly.  I found it hard to do much whether it be reading a book, enjoying a snack or playing video games with my husband without having to have my arms out in the cold. What was there I to do to keep warm and comfortable?

My dilemma was solved when I   recently found out about  The Slanket.   Basically, The Slanket is a very warm fleece blanket with sleeves! With The Slanket, I have the freedom to still move around without coming uncovered as it is designed to keep my entire body warm and my hands free! I will admit that I would’ve posted this review sooner but my husband kept hogging my Slanket! It’s great because it’s pretty roomy and long enough that you don’t have to worry about becoming uncovered. I’ve been using it everyday since I’ve received it and it looks like my husband is probably going to invest in one soon lest he not keep swiping mine!

You can even purchase a Slanket for your kids as they also come in smaller sizes and fun colors!

I love that The Slanket loves people and that’s why they donate sells to some pretty great causes!  All blue Slankets will raise money for H2O AFRICA. Green, brown, and grey Slankets will help contribute to the NATURAL RESOURCES DEFENSE COUNCIL. The lavender, ruby wine, and apricot will accumulate funds for the BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION! Isn’t that wonderful?

You can’t go wrong with keeping toasty and warm! Do you have a family member who has everything? I bet they don’t have a Slanket! These would make wonderfully warm and cozy gifts!

Label Daddy Review

photos_shoeAs a parent, I know how important it is to label my child’s things. If your children are out and about or even at home, you are going to find or have already found out how important labeling things are. I’m sure if you’re a parent, you’ve used the good ole’ permanent marker but ever after a few washes whether in the dish or laundry washer, the good ole’ name written out in sharpie starts to fade out. I can attest to this because while my daughter is at the nursery, they took the liberty of labeling my daughters sippy cups and snack bowls for me and her name written out has already faded.

My daughter is currently allergic to peas and this is an allergy that I hope she grows out of but if not, I’m going to get a set of these labels because you can never be to careful.

LTD Chix Review

Have you heard about LTD Chix apparel? Their apparel meets us moms exactly where we are! They capture us in our finest or as some would think are not so finest moments. You know those moments were we think we feel what we look like (sometimes we do) and we are driven to the point of chaotic meltdown!  They capture us in those moments that make us exactly what we are, Moms!

I was able to review the Laundry mom shirt which features a mom with a massive basket of laundry. Growing up, laundry was one of my least favorite tasks and it still is. I have a firm hold on the laundry most days and those are usually on the days when my child is happy. My daughter has some real mood swings some days (…but what kid doesn’t?) and then it’s hard to get anything done! Right now, I have a husband and one child so it’s not too hard but I know there’s going to be a day when I will battle heaps of laundry and my sanity, especially when more kids get added to my family. To keep sane I need the humor like most of the rest of you moms out there.

My favorite shirt would have to be the Multi-tasking mom but I really do love them all! These shirts I can wear proudly because I’m a mom. I love the humor in these shirts because as moms we don’t get much of a break sometimes, and we could all use a good laugh!
