The Primary Science Color Mixing Set has been my families favorite newly released product by Learning Resources this year. I will continue to state to anyone that there’s nothing better than learning hands on (especially when it comes to my kids)! This set has made a great impact on my 3 and 5 year son & daughter. Their interest in colors all around them has peaked. They’ve been going around wondering what would happen if you mixed this or that color together to see what the end result would be. It’s truly a fabulous art & science set all combined into one! Author Nancy Elizabeth Wallace makes learning about many different types of shells for children fun, engaging, and quite appealing to those that enjoy the hands-on approach. The craft at the end of the book to make a “I Shell Return” bookmark was a wonderful idea that both my children enjoyed! My kids tend to recall information better if it’s wrapped into a game or craft so I praise the book for a easy to create hands-on craft suggestion! Continue reading
