The Afters: Live On Forever {Christian Music CD Review + Giveaway} #flyby



Thanks to FlyBy my family and I received the opportunity to own and enjoy the latest album from The Afters titled Live on Forever. This album in our opinion may just be their best yet. It’s upbeat, impacting, and good background for a number of occasions.  I find it a really great choice for when I may be feeling blue or someone in the home may be in a funk. I Love You Just Because

I Love You Just Because by Donna Keith, illustrated by Alison Edgson is a delightful book great for adoptive, foster, and blended families. Though I can also see this book as good for children curious in families different than their own. In this story, children are reminded of their parents’ as well as God’s love for them just because. The book is full of scripture from both the old and new testament of the Bible in a simplified format. The padded board book format makes this an ideal read or listen to story for children ages three to around eight years old.  Continue reading

April showers bring May flowers, right? This popular proverb certainly rings true in most places in around the world, especially here for my family in Oregon.  In getting excited about the Spring season and the month of April, we’ve been checking out books that celebrate everything fun the rains bring. I like to give back whenever I can, especially when purchasing gifts for special occasions or needed things for family, friends, and those who may need a helping hand.
