The yarn was shipped well from Amazon, with minimal packaging and no strange odors.
Each 250-gram skein contains 417 yards, and with the three-pack providing a total of 1251 yards, there’s enough yarn to create the vest pattern on the label. Note for the vest project that a contrasting color is needed for seaming and other parts, depending on the garment size.

The hat is snug, warm, and slightly stretchy. The design is simple and something a beginner could create in a very short amount of time. I like wearing it on chilly, slightly damp, and windy days. You can use the yarn I recommend or something else as long as it is soft, cozy, and super bulky for weight. Enjoy!

Inspired by the beautiful crimson maple leaves that Autumn brings, I was inspired to create this beautiful Puff Stitch Slouchy crochet beanie-style hat. I designed it so it can be made as short or as long as you like without a lot of stitch variation.
The hat is slightly warm and 100% breathable. I like wearing it on crisp drier Autumn days but it also would work well with slightly damp wet weather and lightly snowy weather too. You can use the yarn I suggest or something else as long as you stick to a worsted weight. Enjoy!

The Bee Hive Crochet Kit from Hobby Lobby that my son picked out for me to make this month turned out nicely. Did you know that it recently was national Bee Day on Friday?
