In late summer, we had the opportunity to participate in the 13th Annual Squirrel Fest in Longview, Washington.
This fun festival, the first of its kind on the West Coast and in the Mount St. Helens region, is a fantastic celebration of our furry friend that is beneficial to the environment.
This weekend, my son successfully prepared his first homemade quiche. His enthusiasm for the dish led us to shop for all the necessary ingredients together.
During our summer escapades, the children, my friends, and I stumbled upon a delightful local farm store a short distance from our haven. I was incredibly impressed by the remarkable community outreach and the delightful farm-to-table marketplace, that I couldn’t wait to share with you, my readers.
The place I speak so highly of is the Clatskanie Food Hub, a year-round non-profit marketplace that features 100% local food and other items produced and processed by a minimum of 70 farmers and makers no more than 100 miles from where the establishment resides.
Welcome to my blog! I'm Erin, and I'm delighted to meet you!
Here I blog about all my incredible adventures doing many activities such as local events, amazing sights, plant care, gardening, cooking and baking, crafting, homesteading, the great outdoors, and home education. I am a prolific writer who is quite verbose.
I am always open to being hired for commissions, and put my all into giving a complete honest review of anything presented, be it locations or items.
I live at home with my three lovely children, Lydia, Owen and Melody. Each one is amazing and all enjoy many different hobbies, such as crafting, origami, and video editing.
