I just heard about the incident that happened to Steven Curtis Chapman’s family. It breaks my heart and I cried when I read about it from a friend’s blog of mine. On Wednesday, his 5 year old daughter was hit and killed by the family SUV. Her brother was backing the vehicle down the driveway and didn’t see her. She was rushed to the hospital, but didn’t make it. It must be so hard for their whole family right now and we should be lifting them up in prayer.
Life means so much, it’s so precious and in a matter of moments, it can be taken away so quickly. I think I’ve learned that even more now as a new parent to be ( 3 days left). Don’t take your time with loved ones for granted because you never know when they’ll be taken from you. It goes to show you that everything we have is not our own. God is gracious and through things like this, I hope someone is able to be ministered to in some way.

|
1 lb |
Chicken livers |
|
Frying oil |
1 |
Egg; beaten |
1/2 c |
Milk |
1 c |
Flour |
1 ts |
Salt |
1 ts |
Pepper, black |
Fried Chicken Livers Instructions:
Heat two inches of oil in a skillet to 325 F or just use a fryer.
Beat the egg and milk together.
Make a seasoned flour dredge.
Dredge the livers in the egg mixture, then in the flour.
Place the livers in the hot oil *very* slowly and carefully.
Cover the skillet, and after four minutes or so use very long tongs to turn the livers.
Cover again, and cook for another four minutes.
Drain the livers on a paper- towel lined platter
You should bet careful when you’re cooking these things, because they’ll pop hot oil right outa the pan and nail you from several feet away.
