Family Fun: Cowlitz County Fair 2025!

Last week, we had a fantastic time at the Cowlitz County Fair. The experience was truly delightful, filled with an array of sights, sounds, and talents that made for a truly memorable experience.

The children were particularly excited as they explored the fairgrounds and encountered a variety of farm animals. They were thrilled to see goats, pigs, cows, chickens, bunnies, ducks, doves, geese, and horses. Each interaction seemed to spark joy and curiosity, making it a wonderful learning experience about rural life and the animals that thrive in a farm setting.
I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the diverse array of arts and crafts on display from both young and old, including stunning quilts, intricate weaving, delicate crochet work, captivating photography, and delicious baking. The skillful canning techniques showcased were quite impressive. Who knew one could create a carrot-weaving pattern so intricately in a jar?
One particular area that stood out was dedicated to a variety of flowers, showcasing not only different types but also fascinating varieties within those types. It was a beautiful journey for the soul to witness, as the vibrant colors and delightful fragrances created a serene atmosphere. The entire experience felt like a celebration of artistic expression and nature’s beauty, leaving me inspired and uplifted.

Overall, it was a day filled with fun and discovery for the whole family.
