Infinity Granny Square For Birthday Blankets
Today I finished my third crochet Infinity Granny Square Blanket. My goal was to make a blanket for each of my children’s birthdays this year and that is now completed! I posted about the one I made for my son HERE.
It took 15 days to finish the blanket for my teen daughter that is turning 14 next month and about three weeks for the one I made for my soon-to-be six-year-old.
My teen daughter requested a green and purple for her granny blanket and did pick out the yarn herself online from JoAnn since the color she wanted were out of stock locally.
My youngest daughter requested specifically a heart on her blanket. So with that in mind, I worked a granny heart in the center and changed the stripes of colors. She chose Big Twist Rose, Aqua, White, and Lilac.
The blankets didn’t take too long to work up. I used a 5.50mm hook and Big Twist Value yarn from Joann on both. Each blanket took 6 skeins total and is roughly 50×50 inches and diagonally 70 inches in size.
Beautiful! I hope they will cherish these crochet items forever.
