Finished Friday: Hue Shift Afghan
I started this Afghan last January and finally took the time to sew it all together this year. Many breaks were had when making this as we had an extremely hot Summer (record-breaking!) last year and other projects became higher priorities.
I remember working on this when we lost power for almost a week when an ice storm saturated the Northwest last February and again in the Spring when we visited the Coast for the first time since the pandemic started.
I learned a lot and got through all that sewing as well which seemed to be the most painstaking part. That said, I’m pleased that the Knit Picks Hue Shift Afghan is now fully complete and I’m very proud of it. It is completely stunning and beautifully colored. I thank my mom for the gift card she sent me for my birthday last year so I was able to purchase and make it!
