Finished Friday: Drop Stitch Purple Topaz Scarf

This is was a WIP that I had started in December 2019 as a distraction from everything that was going on with the loss of our child. I put it down for a while because of everything that was going on in the world with the Virus and adjusting to a new norm.

I made a goal to finish my lingering WIPS this New Year before starting anything else knit or crochet-wise. I’m so happy to be finished with this lovely drop stitch scarf and looking forward to wearing it as well. It wasn’t too complicated but it did take a large amount of time with the number 2 weight fine yarn and the 3.5mm needles I was using.

The drape is lovely and I am pleased that I’ll get to wear this beauty year-round. My oldest was eyeing it for herself but I have plan to make her a pretty scarf/shawl of her own in an equally as nice yarn but in green.
