A Winter Wonderland!

Twas the day after Christmas and our area received the first Winter snow of the season! We weren’t sure if we’d get ice instead or if the snow would have actually accumulated or not. We are happy it did.

My family and I went out before noon to play and to get some lovely photos of the snow-blanketed floral and fauna. It was chilly but not too cold! All the knit and crochet items plus plump parka coats kept us pretty snug and warm.

The kids were eager to build a snowman though the snow was more powdery so it proved a little challenging but a snowman did happen.

The roads in our area were not treacherous or icy at all. We had to run a few errands and by the time we got back home, the sun came home and melted most of it. It is snowing now and forecasted to in the morning but time will tell if we get more or not!
