Celebrating 10 years of impact on families and fathers, this updated version of the film includes new scenes and an enhanced look and sound!
This film revolves around the lives of four law enforcement officers who are dedicated and confidently focused on the work set before them. However, struggles with fatherhood arise as these characters are thrown for a loop when a sudden tragedy hits close to home. Their fathering, fears, hope, and faith in God all come into play. Will they have the courage to impact their families and faith through it all?
My husband, children, and I spent our Saturday evening movie night watching Courageous Legacy together and were quite pleased with the film. We had seen it nearly 10 years ago were looking forward to seeing it again. This time around, we also watched it with our children ( 13, 10. 5) as it is a clean family-friendly film. That said know there are topics covered such as loss, addiction, gang crime, and so forth in this film so be warned of that and the conversations it may bring up.
This film is mainly a drama yet offers humor when it is called for. It is action-packed keeping you entertained but it doesn’t shy away from covering hard topics and things that life can throw your way.
Would we recommend it? Yes! This film is very well done. We enjoyed the story and the call to action. It is worth seeing with your family, friends, and church group!
