First Time Making Home Canned Tomatoes!

It was a busy weekend as the garden keeps on producing more and more tomatoes. I froze a lot last week but was starting to run out of freezer space. I thought on the food that was lost in a week long power outage back in February and decided it was best to store food in a way that it wouldn’t be thrown out if something like that happened again.

I followed the recipe for Tomato Juice from the Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving that was gifted to me by a friend a few years ago and it came out well! My husband helped me out and thus we produced eighteen 32 ounce jars of tomato juice.

Finding Love in Mountain View Premiering on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel on September 19th! (Giveaway!)

Are you ready? Just three days before the official start of the Fall season, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries is premiering Finding Love in Mountain View a film inspired by the book, Finding Love in Bridal Veil, Oregon, by Miralee Ferrell.

I was given the opportunity to view this wonderful family-friendly movie early so I could spread the news! I’ll say it did not disappoint. The scene envelopes the Autumn season so well. That said, be sure to have your favorite snacks, drinks, and cozy blankets on hand for a delightfully good time while seeing it!

VINDICATION, a crime drama series from Pure Flix #VindicationMIN

Summer is coming to an end and that means more time inside as the sun sets sooner and routines change. That said, my family tends to watch films and shows together on certain nights during the Fall and Winter on certain days of the week as a way to wind down and open into dicussion together about what we see.

Recently I got the oppurtunity to check out the show Vindication which can be found on Pure Flix. This show is a crime drama series that can be safely enjoyed with teens to adults. It omits things in detail you’d likely see in not christian themed shown of this nature. Where crimes and criminal actions are not watered down at all, you won’t find language, sex, nudity, blood/gore, and so forth shown or heard and for that I’m grateful.
