Fall Gardening with Dramm!
The Spring and Summer season has come and gone but that doesn’t mean gardening has to stop. That said, my husband and I are giving Fall and Winter gardening. I’m not sure about where you live but here in Zone 8 there are many things that can still grow and be harvested to eat and be ready for the months ahead.
While getting our garden plot going for the season, we’ve again turned to DRAMM a company that produces exceptionally good watering tools, accessories and fertilizers for the garden. I have been using their products since 2017 and am pleased to say those are still going strong! Click here for my previous review on the Rain Wand.
The Drammatic® Liquid Fish Fertilizer I opted to use in our garden this season. It is 100% all natural and my preferred choice for organic gardening. It is a liquid format so it is easy to apply by mixing part of it in water a distributing it from my watering can. It uses fresh fish scraps which when processed at low temperatures maintains amino acids, vitamins and enzymes which are good for soil health, plant health, and a good harvesting yield. The small bottle is easy to handle. It features a twist top lid and all the need to know instructions are printed clearly on the back of the label. I have seen no ill-results in using this product. My plants are healthy and growing well under all sorts of weather and soil conditions ( know our soil was pretty rough when we started our garden early Summer). I feel like this product gave a really good boost to my crops (herbs, vegetables and flowers)! The fertilizer is available in Pint, Quart, and Gallons. Know a little bit of it goes a long way. I definitely recommend giving it a try. |
The ColorStorm Turret Sprinkler has totally changed the way we have watered our garden. We have a 30×30 community garden bed. Since our garden isn’t directly where we live, the time spent watering it can be consuming. This turret allows us to fully water while either heading back home or taking a walk around the area. Sometimes we put it on a timer and head out and other times we turn it on and walk back over to turn it off.
The turret has up to nine water patterns (circle to half-circle to rectangle and many more). The patterns allow us to be precise for specific coverage. My husband and I both like we can water say half the garden while the other side remains untouched.
It is made well. There are no parts that look like they would wear out anytime soon. To switch the modes you simply turn the top part of the turret. It is easy to attach this to a standard hose and nothing else is needed to start using it with your hose.
I like it stays put and doesn’t move around. It has a molded hook for easy storage. I like the color options. It is easy to find with the bright yellow color we have.
While this is great for the garden, it also works well for watering a lawn. While not watering either a garden or lawn, it can be used as a fun water sprinkler for our kids to play in. The multi-purpose uses, different modes and strong durability have me highly recommending it.
The Dramm 7 Liter Watering Can is a total upgrade from my previous watering can. This can first most looks great in the many colors offered.
The can is solid. The plastic is strong and durable without being overly heavy. The design isn’t bulky at all. The handle is easy to hold onto when filling and pouring. I like the wide filling area as it makes mixing liquid fertilizers easy. There is a bloom which is easy to attach. I am pleased the can doesn’t leak from the bloom which is a issue I was having with my other can.
The detachable sprinkle nozzle is gentle enough to water flowers and seedling without being to harsh.
I use this can both for my patio plants and at my community garden. I highly recommend it!
I’m overall pleased with all of the products I was able to share about and review. I will continue supporting and recommending this great company. I recommending check out Dramm on Amazon and at your local gardening store.
