How Great Is Our God: 100 Indescribable Devotions About God and Science by Louie Giglio with Tama Fortnet and illustrations by Nicola Anderson is a pretty cool devotional.

This devotional brings learning about God, themselves and the world we live in together in an easy to understand way.

There are four main creation topics in the devotional you can choose to read through all at once or just go in the order of the book from start to finish. The creation topics are listed in the introduction section and each can be found by going to the directed page number listed. The topics are Space, Earth, Animals and People.

Each devotion features an illustration ( sometimes a full color photograph!), title, scripture verse ( taken from a variety of different Bible versions), devotion, short prayer, and a neat scientific fact (“How Great!” facts).

I like the format of the devotional and that it’s not difficult to understand for children. Whether you a child is into science or not, I feel this offering is a must read!

The hardcover version I have is very nice. I like it includes a ribbon book marker to keep our place when reading each day. The pages are glossy and the colorful illustrations really stand out.
I recommend this devotional highly and will admit even I’ve learned a thing or two!
