The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales review
The Big Bad Wold and Other Tales released to Bluray, DVD and Digital today! This film is an anthology of three animated tales featuring some fun animal stories that are a delight for the whole family.
My daughter had read the graphic novel of the one of the stories that’s included on this DVD and was pretty happy to see it come alive in an animated way. No disappointment with the book to film adaption for us.
The first story is called ‘Baby Delivery’ which is quite the adventure when suddenly the stork doesn’t make the drop off but tricks a trio of friends into to doing it for him. Following is ‘The Big Bad Fox’ a tale about a Fox getting in over his head when all he wanted was dinner. The ending film is a holiday one called ‘The Perfect Christmas’ in which the animal friends think they’ve done something awful and try to replace Santa.
The dialogue is witty and amusing. The stories are engaging from start to finish. Though there is a bad guy ( the wolf) he’s not all that scary. We enjoyed all the stories meaning my kids ages 3, 8 and 11 as my self.
Each tale is 30 minutes long making the entirety of the DVD about an hour and a half. We’ve not just watched the film once but two times already in the span of a month. Needless to say we are fans and highly recommend everyone to see it for themselves as it makes for a great pick for a family movie night!
