Dangerous Prayers 50 Powerful Prayers That Changed the World {Book Review}
Dangerous Prayers 50 Powerful Prayers That Changed the World gives readers a bite size look at influential men and woman that have made a substantial difference throughout history.
I found it to be a great choice for choosing to study a certain individual or just getting briefly introduced to who they are. The content on each person is brief and to the point. If you really want to know more about the person mentioned note this book just gives you the footnotes. For homeschooling and other studying purposes, it’s been the perfect go to for narrowing who we’d like to study down.
Each individual is listed with their name, date of birth to death, mini biograpy, illustrated image ( painting style) of what they look like, and a prayer they are known for.
A few of the people you’ll find mentioned in this book are; Billy Graham, C.S Lewis, Corrie Ten Booth, John Wesley, Augustine of Hippo, Charles Spurgeon, Elisabeth Elliot, and many more.
This book is hardcover. It’s sturdiness makes it a nice choice for leaving on the coffee table and as a reference guide book you’ll want to come back to. The pages are thick and durable. The illustrations and other imagery are impressive. It has a built in ribbon bookmark so you can pick up where you’ve left off.
I highly recommend this offering. There is so much that we can learn from those that have dedicated their lives to serving others and following Christ. I enjoyed learning about the lives of these amazing people whom God used in such amazing ways for the Kingdom!
I received this book in exchange for an honest review from BookLookBloggers.
