First Snow of 2019 for Us!

The first snow of 2019 for where we are in Oregon fell last night. More is in the forecast for the rest of the week. If we don’t get the white stuff before, February usually is the month it makes it’s arrival.

I snapped a few pictures of the kids ( my youngest is still in her Pjs!) but they didn’t play in it because there wasn’t enough. The snow also was powder like so it’s not great for snowballs or snowmen. It’s melting pretty quickly and leaving the ground quite muddy. Believe it or not, Oregon has been in a drought getting far less precipitation making it a sunny and brisk winter. It’ll be interesting to see how the temperatures go the rest of the year.

The current and predicted cold temperatures mean ice and slick driving conditions so our thoughts and prayers for all those that have to travel in it! How is the weather where you are?
