When Do I Love You? {Book Review}

When Do I Love You is a sweet little book to share with toddlers and preschool aged children. This story is a perfect anytime tale. It  reminds readers and listeners of the how and the when love occurs throughout  seasons and situations life happens to have us in at the time.

How delightfully warm and inviting the illustrations are by Maria Cabrol in exploring how families share love.  There are ducks riding in trucks, bears at the fair, lizards during a blizzard, kitties in the city, and many more interesting characters.

When? Would? and the How are playfully written in rhyme making this book a joy to read aloud to my little one. She is a little over two and half years old and truly adores this book. Though there are a lot of animals in this tale she certainly loves that a child and their mother are included in the ending.

This book has a been well received. I love reading it and my toddler adores both looking and having it read to her.  I feel this book would also be great for early readers. It’s a great pick for reminding a child just how much they are loved and cherished.
