Getting in shape with the Fitbit Alta Fitness Tracker!

Yesterday our tax refund hit and I was able to purchase a Fitbit Alta Fitness Tracker. I also made an order for an Instant Pot but that’s another post! My aim is to get fit (obviously) This tracker is a great way to keep motivated and see my progress. I really like checking things off and being reminded if I forget. This is for me just as much as it is for my family. I’m tired of being…well, tired! I always feel better when I take the time to exercise. I know I’m not alone with the feeling that we want better but it’s sometimes just hard to start!

I charged my Bit up last night. I downloaded the app on my phone and already started setting personal goals. I am keeping a food diary, tracking my water intake, and at least fitting 30 minutes a day of fitness of some sort a week. I’m starting small and in a few months, I hope to be able to tackle more.

How’s fitness going for today? It’s not happening. My baby girl woke up with a 100.5 fever last night and she’s all gunky. Sadly she caught a cold her older brother had earlier this week. I’m running off maybe 4 hours of sleep if that.  Pilates and a few other workouts I want to start are just going to have to wait till everyone is better and I get more sleep.

I’ll be periodically updating my progress here. While I really don’t need to lose any weight, I could use some toning up. When I have babies all my weight goes to my hips, thighs, and belly so I’ll be working on those areas. There are some great Christian remix tracks to listen too off Youtube. I’ll put links to my favorite videos and music for workouts in another post.  I want to get a bit better acquainted with the fitness tracker so I can share my absolute most favorite features.
