If you are still hunting for a gift or gift idea for Christmas that’s extra special, it’s not too late! In purchasing an item of any kind, you’ll get to opportunity to learn who you are buying from, what possibly inspired the item, and what country the artist is located.

I recently made an order to Novica and was beyond thrilled with the items I received. As an avid coffee and tea lover I specifically was looking for a cream pitcher and sugar bowl. When I found the Mexican Fair Trade Floral Ceramic Talavera Sugar and Creamer, ‘Guanajuato Flora’ set to match my favorite fruit bowl, I was enamored!  Matching items in my kitchen to bring my color scheme and theme together always make me happy!

Each of the pieces are very well made. The colors are bright and beautiful. Both pieces seem to have a glossy finish too. These pieces are hand-crafted and painted which makes them all the more special! Every piece will always be a little different and I love that one of a kind appeal. I liked getting to know a little more about the artist on the Novica website and appreciated that I got a personal note and was able to include a gift message without any extra charge. It’s the little things that are the big things when it comes to purchasing items such as these, in my opinion.

I am pleased I can follow the artist of the set I ordered to easily find other pieces in the Talavera style that he’s created like the teapot, vase, and the flowerpot!
