Night Night, Farm by Amy Parker

Night Night Farm

Night Night Farm by Amy Parker and Virginia Allyn is absolutely adorable! I’m a country girl at heart and adore everything about farm life and living. When I got my hands on this title for my daughter Lydia, I’m not sure who’d love it more. As my little one can’t quite voice her opinion in words yet her like of the book is worn all over her face. She has brightened up when I’ve read this book to her during bed and nap time!

The illustrations really make this book a winner! The animals in the pictures are adorable! There are sheep, cows, horses, chickens, cats, owls, pigs, and a family of mice. All the animals are getting ready for bed some wearing cute pajamas to boot! It’s a real visual delight on every turned page.

The book is an easy read with rhyme and at the end of each page there’s a little phrase that when reading the book over and over again a child will catch on to and likely repeat. For example “Oink Oink Pigs” & Neigh neigh Horses”.  There’s a family of mice that show up on each page so that’s a fun game to play to see who can spot and point them out first!

Children will learn just like the animals go to bed so do they at night. They’ll be reassured of God’s love for the animals He created and for them too.  A real winner, especially for those that love farms, animals, and bedtime stories!
