My Coloring Book Review: If you like the folk art style and angels this book is certain to please! There are over 50 gorgeous illustrations that include angelic images that are holiday themed, inspiring quotes, four seasons, and scenes featuring the beauty of nature. Illustrations vary in portrait, landscape, and all pages are perforated! Difficulty in coloring ranges from easy to more advanced having plenty of both. There are a few pages of 3D bonus elements included gives ones art a way to uniquely stand out if choosing to display finished works!
This book is nice to color! The pages are of a medium paper thickness. I prefer taking each page I color out of the book so I don’t have to worry about any bleeding from a more wet based coloring medium like water color pencils or markers. The perforated pages are great because I can easily display or gift the pages I color without damaging the book trying to take them out. I only wish more coloring books would keep this feature in mind!
The printing of the illustrations is top-notch. There’s none that look like the printer was running out of ink or fading where it shouldn’t be. The illustrations are clear and not pixelated looking in the least bit!
The illustrations all feature a border. The border makes these a great choice for framing when completed. In each picture there’s an angel or angels with imagery around them boldly outlined and a faded out lightly outlined scene behind them you can color. The way each illustration is presented really offers a lot of dimension!
I like that there’s plenty of space in most of the illustrations. I think more space offers the opportunity to finish one illustration in a single coloring session, especially if you don’t have a lot of time.
A lovely coloring book and I’d certainly recommend it! There’s nothing I disliked only good things to say about it!
