Dino Construction Company: Rescue Crew {Review}

Thanks to the The Dino Construction Company and their fantastic toy offerings, my son has developed an adoration for learning about all sorts of things pertaining to dinosaurs! Today I’m happy to talk about the Rescue Crew which are the newest offerings in their line. The Rescue Crew Dinos are smaller in size than some of the others offered but that doesn’t make them any less special. In a way, it adds to the appeal as the sizing makes them easy to bring along just about anywhere!

I don’t know about anyone else but my five year old son loves to bring his favorite toys along when we go out to the park, store, or wherever else and I’m perfectly fine with that! The entire line is great for indoor and outdoor play. Honestly, it just doesn’t get any better than this for kids that love dinosaurs and vehicles! A bonus as well for parents that prefer toys that don’t require batteries! All are 100% kid powered!

Dino Construction Company™ Rescue Crew—Cyclone the Pteranodon Helicopter

The Cyclone the Pteranodon Helicopter toy mimics in dinosaur format a real life rescue helicopter! It has a chopper blade that moves when you spin it. The wings can be moved up for swooping and then back again to normal flight mode. The neck of the dino can be moved up and down. The tail moves. The mouth can open and be closed. There’s a compartment on the dino copter that holds a dino man action figure. The action figure man will shift around in the compartment but that doesn’t seem to bother my son at all. He loves making roaring noises and flying the helicopter all around when playing!

This toy is made well! It’s absolutely perfect for any child between the ages of 3-6 years old. I’m loving it doesn’t require batteries and that it’s easy to clean after play outside. My son loves using his imagination when playing with this toy! All the moving parts makes this toy even more exciting and the fact it’s a mash up of a dinosaur and vehicle is pretty awesome too!

Dino Construction Company™ Rescue Crew—Turbo the Triceratops Police SUV

The Turbo the Triceratops Police SUV is pretty cool! My son loves the combination of dinosaur and police car! Included is a Dino-man action figure which my son uses to instill justice, keep the peace, and rescue whomever may need it!

The wheels when ran across sand and dirt leave pretty cool dino-tracks behind! Aside from the cool track prints, this toy has a movable tail, jaws that open and close, and an opening compartment for the action figure to sit inside.

There are sirens on top of the dino which adds to the design appeal but keep in mind they don’t light up or anything. This toy is battery free and 100% kid powered from the movement to the sounds made when played with. This one has certainly been a favorite to make journeys outdoors with for my son which I am good with…those kid powered noises for sirens can sometimes get pretty loud. All in good fun though!

Dino Construction Company™ Rescue Crew—Blaze the Plesiosaurus Fireboat

Blaze the Plesiosaurus Fireboat is my sons favorite out of all the rescue dinosaurs available. He loves the fact it floats and he can not only play with it outside in a pool of water but inside during bath time. Water play is always a winner! This rescue boat like the others dinos in the series, comes with a Dino action man figure that can safely sit inside the open and shut cab door. He doesn’t sit tightly so if there’s rough seas ahead he may rock around quite a bit! The Fireboat features a water spout but keep in mind it’s purely for looks as it doesn’t actually spray water out.

This boat is bright and exciting to look at and play with. It has a movable tail, opening jaw, titling head, sliding neck, and rolling wheels. Lots of movement going on to get kids engaged! I can foresee lots of play with this toy during the Summer season.
