The Blender Girl Smoothies cookbook is full many amazing recipes. I feel that almost any smoothie recipe for any particular need can be found within the pages. It makes healthy choices for oneself free from complication.
In this book, there are 100 smooth recipes. These recipes vary from detox, weight loss, energy enhancing, immunity boosting, and so on. Smoothie categories include light and fruity, clean and green, an exotic ride, and dessert. What makes the recipes amazing is that all are gluten-free and vegan with many being free from soy and nuts as well. If you have a food allergy or typically just trying to avoid specific things for a healthier lifestyle, chances are you’ll find more than one smoothie recipe here to suit your fancy.
I applaud the author in being straight to the point. Everything you might want to know about smoothies and the boosters that are included in many is covered in the very informative smoothie secrets and finding your perfect blend areas in the front of the book.
The recipes are easy to follow and before you make one you can check the icons on each to see what the primary benefits are. There is always the serving size, optional boosters to add, and the nutritional value on reach of the smoothie recipes. The full color photos make all the smoothies look delicious!
There are fruit and vegetable smoothie recipes. Most have a base of either juice, almond milk, or coconut water. I’ve tried a few of these recipes myself and I’ve been very happy with the results. If one is looking for a smoothie book to get started or if they’ve been in a smoothie making rut and are wanting to try something new, I highly recommend this book!
