The Biggest Story: How The Snake Crusher Brings Us Back To The Garden (Giveaway & Review)

Every once in a while I come across a unique and amazing book and I’m pleased to say The Biggest Story: How The Snake Crusher Brings Us Back To The Garden is just that. This Bible Story book drew both myself and my children in from gazing upon the cover alone. The colors choices are amazing and the pictures to depict the stories are very well suited. The inner pages are filled with illustrations that captivate and keep one focused while reading or being read to.

In this book, there are ten chapters and a note to the parents section. The chapters each focus on specific Bible Stories. It starts in the beginning and ends with the resurrection. I feel the stories covered are age appropriate and am glad they are not sugar coated.  For example children learn that Cain murdered Abel. The Bible is full of stories such as these that show how sinful of a world it is and how much we need Christ Jesus.
We’ve been reading this book during our evening Family Devotionals. It has sat well with both my 4 1/2 year old son and 7 year old daughter. Though typically reads the book while the kids listen, the text is easy enough for my daughter. Both kids have had no issues in comprehension of the stories read. They told me they like this book because they get to learn about God and that the pictures are amazing! I couldn’t have said it better myself.  I feel this is a good choice for family or Sunday school classroom reading.
