Frankie’s Food Truck Fiasco Game {Review and Giveaway}
Frankie’s Food Truck Fiasco Game has a lot of kid appeal! The illustrations on the box and on all the pieces are colorful, whimsical, and a whole lot fun to look at. In this game, children will practice their math skills in recognizing a number of different geometric shapes found in common foods and treats. Game play is easy to catch on to. Kids will practice patience by taking turns, develop their fine motor skills, and sharpen their critical thinking and decision making abilities.
This game is for children ages four and up. I believe it’s best suited for children preschool through kindergarten. That being said, my kids ages 7 and 4 had fun with this game. They liked using the Frankie cat squeezer to pick up foods on their turns. The re-playability for this game is moderate for us. It’s best as a teaching tool to supplement what they are learning in their schooling.
Game play time varies from 15-30 minutes depending on the number of people playing. Up to four people can play at once. Set up and clean up is fast. The instructions were pretty basic and there were a few things that weren’t very clear. For example when a player lands on a shape to pick up that they already have, we aren’t told if they should skip their turn or spin again. We substituted and just stuck to our own rule on this particular thing. Other than that, the game is still fun and works out pretty well.
