CoffeeCrazy’s Organic & Fair Trade Columbian Roast is delicious! As a avid coffee drinker, I am selective about which coffee I do recommend and don’t. My husband jokes I’m a coffee snob. I just reply that I’ve got a refined taste for the bean. I partially blame it on living in the North West which offers far more blends and brews than most would ever find in their local grocery aisle. I’ve had a good experience with this coffee. It comes in whole bean format which delivers more flavor and freshness than a previously ground batch of coffee would.
I ground up these beans and then prepared to brew in my French Press (which is recommended by the company). Upon opening the bag and grinding the beans up they continued to increase in a rich aromaup to the point of savoring a cup for myself.The flavor I found to be rich and smooth with a deep robust taste that is perfect for a morning cup of coffee! I feel this roast can be paired perfectly with any choice of breakfast or dessert. I’ve had it black and with agave and creamer either way prepared works! It’s the perfect pair for savory or sweet. The acidity is just right and I’ve had zero heart burn issues after having several cups. There’s no bitter taste at all either.
Aside from just drinking a cup, I feel this coffee would be great to use in recipes for baked goods and sweets as well!
