Scooping Ice Cream Made Easy!

DSCN1301
It could be the dead of Winter and my family still gets a hankering for ice cream. There’s just something about this sweet and completely versatile treat that has won our hearts. Of course, when serving ice cream one needs to have the right tool for the job. But what tool do we prefer? There are several tools to scoop the ice cream from serving size scoops, rounded scoops, oval scoops, spring loaded, and just using any old thing that’s lying around (which I don’t recommend unless you want bent utensils).

The Sumo  Ice Cream Scoop is what my family has been using over the last month. We are very impressed with the design and its ability to preform such a basic task extremely well. Upon first handling the scoop, I noticed a good amount of weight to it.  The weight demonstrated to me how durable the scoop is. It’s likely not going to snap under pressure and hasn’t yet.  I’ve not had to warm up my scoop before cutting through ice cream, which has eliminated a step I was having to take previously.

The handle features a non-slip grip so when pressure is applied, there’s no worry of making a huge mess or hurting yourself in the process. This scoop works so well that even my six year old daughter can scoop ice cream without issues! It’s advertised to never snap, break, rust, chip or pit and so far so good! This scoop needs no special care and can be put into the dishwasher with everything else when clean up time comes.

My family is very impressed with this stainless steel ice cream scoop and are happy that the company will replace it ever there is ever a problem. We plan on getting even more use out of it especially since the Summer months are right around the corner!41Q1qZL1FRL
