My goodness, I was certainly spoiled on my the 30th birthday which was a few days ago. I’m not used to receiving so many wonderful blessing all at once! Everyone keeps telling me my 30’s will be great and I have pretty good vibes about that.
My sister in law happily watched the kids for us and my husband and I were able to have dinner at a local Scottish Pub. The dinner was delicious. I had Fish and Chips along with Scottish Eggs, and a slice of cheesecake. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the inside reminded me much of a place you might find in the fictional world of Middle Earth.
I also got to see The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies movie. I’ve always been a Tolkien fan and was glad to see the final movie in the collection in theaters before it was stopped being shown. Slightly random piece of information is that the actor that plays Legolas in the movies share the same birth date as me!
My husband knows me so well or he just knows that he should check my Amazon wish list for gifts that I want. You can never go wrong with just asking either. He gifted me several Studio Ghibili movies that I didn’t have in my collection yet and a super cute My Neighbor TOTORO LONG Green Wallet . I was delightfully surprised! The wallet came at a good time because my current one was falling apart!
My Mom gifted me a gift certificate to Family Christian in which I put toward a Bagsmith Black Project Bag Knitting Craft Collapsible Storage Stand of which I’ve heard great things about! It appears really nice looking from the pictures alone! I’ll share my thoughts on it after it arrives.
My Mother-in-Law gave me a few cute things for my kitchen, a Vera Bradley CAMPUS DOUBLE ID wallet in the Ziggy Zinnia color way, and cash! I put the cash toward a Now Foods Ultrasonic Wood Grain Oil Diffuser! Since I was turned on to essential oils by my friend Lindsey, I’ve been wanting one of these for awhile. For my price range, this diffuser works great! It’s so pretty too!
What’s a birthday without a little yarn goodness? My sister in law gifted me two sets from the Lion Brand Yarn Bonbons Yarn line! I love these little balls and feel they are almost too cute to knit up! Though I did come across some adorable patterns using these and pinned them on my Pintrest board!
Overall, a great birthday. To top it off I had Peach pie since we had plenty of cake last week during Owen’s 4th birthday! Feeling very loved and blessed!
