Edie Carey & Sarah Sample – “‘Til The Morning: Lullabies and Songs of Comfort” {review + giveaway}

The album ‘Til The Morning by arist Edie Carey & Sarah Sample I adore very much. The album features a collection of well known lullabies, other favorite songs that are calming that bring solace, and some of their own original tunes. I believe those of all ages will certainly drift into a much calmer state after listening ( I know my kids and I have). I just warn you not to listen to the album if you are tired that is unless you are ready to sleep. The ladies sing beautifully well together and the accompaniment of stringed instruments are the most perfect of matches that possibly could be had.

 It’s hard to chose a favorite song but I must say that Softly and Tenderly tugged at me quite a bit.  Another favorite is All the Pretty Little Horses.  The rhythm and melodic flow of the album makes the transition from song to song easy to listen to without any abrupt changes.  My 3 1/2 year old son as well as my six year old daughter tell me they like this album and it’s always an easy night of getting them to rest and stay in bed when this album is played.

1. Lullaby

If you have a child in your life that likes to listen to music before bed or nap time or that has a little trouble drifting off, I would most certainly recommending this album to assist into that transition. Run-time of the album is 49 minutes. ‘Til The Morning: Lullabies and Songs of Comfort will be available at www.ediecarey.com, www.sarahsample.com, amazon.com, CDBaby.com, iTunes, Bandcamp, and other related digital outlets.
