Smart Ones® oatmeal is found in the frozen aisle in heat & eat cups, making it easy for you to enjoy on the go. It comes in three delicious varieties: Apple & Cinnamon, Maple & Brown Sugar and Peaches & Cream. I got the privilege to try these out for myself, and will how to vouch that my favorite flavor is Peaches & Cream.
Something to know about me is that I typically opt for oatmeal that takes nearly half an hour from start to finish to make. There’s just something about slow cooked oats that totally appeals to my palette. But sometimes I can’t always swing that time in the morning especially when my family and I might need to be out the door to not be late to an appointment or whatever else. This is where Smart Ones® oatmeal comes in because I can have breakfast for myself ready in as a little as a few minutes. And the taste and texture of the oatmeal is actually surprisingly pretty good, much better than the instant just add water stuff that kinda gets misplaced in the pantry because no one really likes it in my house.
If you are watching your waist line, you’ll be pleased to know that each Smart Ones® oatmeal contains 190 calories, 2 g of fat, 5 g of fiber and 5 g of protein. I found the oatmeal to have just the right amount of flavor. Not overly sweet either! Sometimes I think a lot of easy on the go sorta stuff adds way too much sugar or it just ends up tasting like cardboard. But not these!
Overall, I’d recommend giving these a try! You might be pleasantly surprised in your findings like myself.
