Puppy in My Pocket: Friendship Ceremony DVD

On September 10th, Puppy in My Pocket: Friendship Ceremony is to be released on DVD. This totally cute offering, both my children fell in love with right away ( especially my five year old daughter).  If you didn’t know about the series, you may have heard about the ever popular pocket sized toy pets the series is based on.

As a parent I am pretty selective on what I let my children watch. This series totally won me over. The message it portrays is to bring joy and happiness to those that may be feeling lonely putting others before yourself.  Kitty Princess Ava is in charge of matching children looking for a friend with new pets.  One day, however, Ava’s jealous sister, Eva, accidentally sends Ava to the ‘real world” while real-world girl Kate is sent to Pocketville in her place. And now, Kate and her new dog, Magic, must now continue Ava’s work until she can find her way home.

This is a super cute show. Just be warned your child may want a pet of their own after watching it. The animation is colorful and the characters lovable and modest. There’s no inappropriate name calling, language, or sarcasm. The human characters dress modestly and are respectful of each other.  Wholesome family entertainment which can often be so hard to come by but this one does a great job in being totally family friendly.

There are 7 episodes on the DVD and runtime is approximately 80 minutes (a little under an hour and a half).

  • Friendship Ceremony
  • The Unexpected Guest
  • Evershell The Wise
  • Going Home
  • A Big Responsibility (Pt 1 and Pt 2)
  • Crest of a Wave

We recommend this one and are looking forward to more DVD releases of episodes in the future!
