Mike the Knight: Knight in Training DVD (Review & Giveaway)

Do you have a little one that loves medieval times? If so, they by chance like the children’s show Mike the Knight, which is available on DVD tomorrow! This show is quite a popular one that airs on Nick Jr, I’ve heard. My children ages 5 and 2 had never seen the show before receiving a screener copy because we don’t have cable. But they became fans quite quickly boasting with excitement and asking to watch it over and over again!

Mike the Knight: Knight in Training is a fun adventurous DVD collection. Viewers get to see Mike serve and protect the Kingdom of Glendragon along with the help of his friends. The DVD has five episodes that strongly encourage problem solving, teamwork, & doing the right thing. I love that Mike seems to make mistakes just like a typical kids his own age . It’s great that children can relate even though they don’t have an adorable horse or scaly silly dragons in tow.

Episodes Included:

  • Scary Dragons
  • Evie’s Birthday Present
  • Fluttering Favour
  • Trollee’s Sleepover
  • Mission Home

DVD runtime is 56 minutes and includes bonus features such as a Glendragon Matching Game, Meet Mike’s Friends! Music Videos,Mike the Knight Theme Song. Be warned that Mike’s motto: “Be a Knight. Do it right!” might just be quoted quite a bit after your kids get done with this DVD. And hey that’s not bad at all! I feel this DVD would best be suited for children ages 3-5 years old.
