Novica {review}

Novica is a fair trade company that works with National Geographic to give artists and artisans a way to share and express their talents with the world! They offer all sorts of hand crafted unique one of a kind items such as home decor, jewelry, clothing, accessories, and so much more. In purchasing an item of any kind, you’ll get to opportunity to learn who you are buying from, what possibly inspired the item, and what country the artist is located.

I recently made an order to Novica and was overjoyed with the items I received (Coconut shell flower necklace, ‘Balinese Sunflower“, Ceramic teapot, ‘Turtle Mom & Talavera ceramic bowl, ‘Happy Tradition’). Each of the pieces I could tell were made with such careful thought, full artistic expression, and delightful detailing to make the item complete. The personal touches from the about each item card to the hand-signed appreciation letter from the artists made everything that much more special too! A few of the items I got were even gift wrapped! The gift wrapping is feature that would be great if you buying for a friend or family member!

As I mentioned before, I made an order after browsing a number of the categories on the site. I spent quite a bit of time browsing. There were so many gorgeous items  from  Jewelry Gifts , Spiritual Gifts, Religious Gifts, Jewelry Box Gifts, and much more. I also glanced upon the Gifts by Personality and found something that suited my own as well as my families likes and styles perfectly!

Novica recently debuted a curator program which gives everyone an opportunity to browse the artists on their site and create themed collections of your favorite items in a gallery type pinning format. This program is a wonderful blessing to the artist on Novica as it gives them more exposure in leading toward greater success in their crafting. You can make a collection up and share with the world easily on places like Facebook, Twitter, Google +, and by email.

Overall I highly recommend visiting Novica. They are a wonderful company that gives artist a chance at sharing their works and spreading joy in their own way around the world! Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I’m sure any mother would be more than happy to receive a gift or gift certificate from the company.
