DVD Review & Giveaway: Adventures of Bailey: Christmas Hero

It’s Christmas time at the Baker household and Bailey is at it again in this new Dove-approved family-friendly live-action holiday film that’ll have kids ho-ho-ho-ing with glee when it arrives on DVD this November!

Worried that he won’t get any presents from Santa because he’s been a bad doggie, Bailey learns of a mysterious Native American Indian brave who may be able to make his Christmas wishes come true. With visions of tennis balls, squeaky toys and dog bones dancing in his head, Bailey sets out to find this legend in the woods. But when his misguided actions threaten the Baker family’s Christmas plans, Bailey must make a decision that helps him finally understand the “true” meaning of Christmas.

This movie is a cute flick to watch during the month of November and December up until Christmas Day. I always pull out Holiday movies that are family friendly to watch with my kids as tradition to counting down to the big day. Christmas Hero was loved by bothmy kids but after about 60 minutes they started getting restless ( the movie run time is 90 minutes long). I do think that movie ran a little long and the story could have moved a little quicker.Overall, I felt the film had a good moral and displayed what really matters about Christmas ( not gifts, even though it’s fun to get them). And if your children love talking animal movies, this one is sure to keep them happy.
