Review and Giveaway: Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band’s “A Potluck”

Children’s music that full satisfies the hunger and cravings, and likes of everyone in the family is what you’ll find in the newest CD from Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band.  And with everything it gives to it’s listeners, there could have been no other name more suitable than “Potluck”!

I know I’ve said it before about a previous Lucky Diaz CD that I’ve reviewed on my blog but the songs found on Potluck are also just as refreshingly catchy and cunningly creative! The mix of styles you’ll find throughout are those of ska, rock and roll, indie pop, and few others that meld extremely well together.

You’ll find 11 fun songs that mention everything from riding your bike, a lemonade stand, invisible friends,  wondering who stole the cookies from the cookie jar, and many more. My daughter’s favorite song on Potluck right now is “Lines and Dots”.  She has just learned how to do connect the dots in her preschool work so the song couldn’t have been more fun for her to sing and dance along too.

My 16 month old son likes to dance and sing a long to the song Tres Ratones ( familiar mice ). There’s a part of the song that goes “meow meow meow meow” and you can guess how quickly my song picked up on that. So lately he’s been going around meowing at almost everything! It’s cute when the song plays and he bobs back and forth dancing and meowing.

I highly recommend Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band “Potluck” cd. It’s fun, family friendly, and it’s addicting catchy beats will make you eager to listen and on the look out for future albums from this great band!

You can purchase A Potluck from Amazon.com right now for $12.98 for the audio cd and just $8.99 for the MP3 album!
