Book Review: God Gave Us Two by Lisa Tawn Bergren

We’ve been a fan of the “God Gave Us So Much” book series by Lisa Tawn Bergen for quite a while now. The stories have been heartfelt and easy for a child to comprehend and the artwork by Laura J. Bryant is very colorful, yet soft and it embraces you into the story in such a way.

In the book God Gave Us Two sequel to God Gave Us You, we see that Mama Bear is expecting and Little Cub has many questions about the arrival of the new baby. Through out the tale, Little Cub learns that babies are a gift from God among other things.  I believe this is a great story and book for children that are due a new brother or sister. This stories shows and really expresses a lot of the thoughts, questions, and feelings any new big brother or sister may be having. Some of the things Little Cub asks are “Will You Forget Me”? What if the Babies Cries to Much, Can we Send it back?”… and more.

You can purchase God Gave Us Two in hard cover right now at for $7.91!  This would make a great gift  for any expecting mom that would enjoy sharing it with their child or children soon to become big siblings!
