My First Collection Vol. 2 featuring Spoon {review}

I’m a huge fan of the My First Collections offered by Scholastic Storybook Treasures! This specific collection is geared toward children ages two through six years old making these the perfect DVD storybook collection to share with my children whom around that age right now.

My First Collection Vol. 2 featuring Spoon  was just released a few weeks ago. This collection like the other’s offered by Scholastic has a read-along feature which is wonderful learning and teaching aid for pre- and young readers. There are 13 stories in total in the collection as well as bonus features such as interviews with the authors and illustrators of several of the included stories.

Children can take away important skills  and character attributes such as language, confidence, cooperation, friendship, problem solving, music appreciation, and reading from this entire collection. I always love when my daughter watches the stories and has questions for me about the stories afterwards! It’s great to know that these stories can keep her attention and fill her with wonder about the world around her. It even kept the attention of my nine month old baby boy.

The entire set has the following DVD’s in which you can also purchase separately for 12.95 each or altogether for 24.95 if you’d like ;   Spoon…and more stories about friendship, Dem Bones…and more sing-along stories and That New Animal…and more stories about the new baby.

My First Collection Vol. 2 featuring Spoon set like all the others offered by Scholastics Storybook Treasures is must have for your home or school classroom. I guarantee your children will sing, dance, question, and learn in a big way.
