I’m so happy that yet another classic storybook and television character from my own childhood is being released on two brand new to  DVD collections on September 6th! I’m talking about the one and only lovable elephant that’s been around since the 1930’s known as Babar!

My daughter and I spent the weekend watching both School Days & Best Friends Forever and we’ll be watching them again! Both of the DVDs are 90 minutes in length and offer four episodes each. The feature looks so nice as it’s been digitally remastered and restored! You can watch in English, French, or Spanish. And as a bonus, each DVD comes with a coloring book of Babar and his friends for the child that receives either DVD.

Each of the DVDs feature moral stories that children can learn from! For instance, School Days teaches children about acceptance, honesty and patience. It’s a great collection for kids that are going to school in learning how to feel confident in themselves as well as teaching them what to do about bullies.

On the Best Friends Forever collection children will learn about cooperation, understanding and teamwork. Great for learning how to behave in good fashion in relationships with their friends, family and other acquaintances.

I’m very thrilled that I am going to be able to share Babar with my own children not only in storybook format but DVD too! I encourage parents, caregivers, libraries, and classrooms to pick up this classic!
