Is it really mid February already? I guess the older you get the quicker time seems to pass you by. I have two little kids and they are always keeping me busy caring for them. The chores of a house wife are never ending but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Not saying I never get flustered and that we never have our bad days. Those sort of days make us, mold us, and shape us to become a better people. I love my husband and my kids and couldn’t imagine my life without them.
Valentine’s Day is coming up this Monday. It’s a fun Holiday to celebrate those we love. Do I expect roses, jewelry, chocolates, or a nice dinner out? Sure it’d be nice to have all those things but I don’t need them. The worlds secular point of view directs you to expect “something material”. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with purchasing a gift. I’m okay with that as long as you aren’t going way over your budget! There’s plenty of sites out there that offer comparison shopping, to help you get the best deals on gifts online.
I would encourage my readers to celebrate Christ this Valentines Day. Love on others not just your spouses. Shine the light of Lord and express toward others that Agape love in which Christ beautifully and humbly expressed to those around Him.
Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous;
love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Love never fails…But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. -1 Corinthians 13:4-7,13
