Autumn technically doesn’t start until September 23rd but I’ve already begun decorating my home to welcome it in! I’m happy to say you can be on a budget and still make your home beautiful with strings of leaves, happy scarecrows, pumpkins, straw brooms, pumpkins, and bales of hay for as little as under twenty dollars!
I’m all giddy knowing soon the trees will put on a wonderful display of colors, the pumpkins will litter large fields and bring smiles to the faces of children and adults alike, and don’t get me started on the wonderful smells.
I’m already starting to plan trips to the local pumpkin fields so as to have lots of family fun and fantastic fall photos!
I’ve been getting together a variety of supplies to start doing crafts with my daughter starting next week! I’m so ready for brightly colored construction paper, glue, coloring sheets, glitter, and more!
I also plan on baking some fun autumn themed sugar cookies with my collection of cookie cutters from Ikea that features a squirrel, a moose, and more fun shapes! Melody will totally love to help me out with that!
My friend Crystal from the Eccentric Eclectic Woman beautifully captured what she loves about Fall so much and I couldn’t agree with her more!
What are you favorite things about the Autumn Season & have you already started making fun fall family activity plans?
