More  information:

Jeremy Plays Guitar is the new kid’s music project of Jeremy Zmuda, a well known and highly decorated NYC-based musician who, in addition to winning the John Lennon Songwriting contest, being a consultant for Sesame Street and graduating with honors from Berklee College of Music, also co-wrote the album “Songs in the Key of New York”.

Jeremy Plays Guitar features 14 original songs  geared toward children ages 2 to 6. His lyrics were developed by Early Childhood“Language-based music,” giving children the words to use to communicate their feelings and to handle everyday social situations. Use Your Words features musical styles ranging from jazz to rock, pop to country-folk so there’s totally something there for everyone!

My daughter Melody whom is two years old and I have been listening to Use Your Words for about a weeks time now and we’ve have become quite the fans! My daughter has a lot of fun jumping around and singing along to the songs especially “HappySadSillyMad”. As a mom I think this CD is a wonderful resource to help children effectively learn to communicate many needs and feelings! For example, there are songs that teach kids how to learn from mistakes, being nervous, body awareness, how to share, and more!

*This debut CD from Jeremy Plays Guitar (due 9/28) features guest appearances by a member of The Roots and Madeleine Peyroux, on the sultry “Keep My Cool”.

Note that a percentage of sales from Use Your Words will be donated to KidsNeed A Melody, a non profit organization dedicated to bringing music enrichment to children in need. The organization works with shelters serving families with young children in need to provide free music classes, instruments and concerts.

Family concerts to celebrate the release if Use Your Words will be scheduled in New York during the month of September. Visit for more information.
