Laurie’s first published work was a note passed to a boy in elementary school. You would have thought that this most embarrassing moment would have stopped her writing career. But instead, Laurie is the author of thirty five books and author/illustrator of two more. Laurie lives in rural Ohio with her husband and two daughters.

I would highly recommend this book for tween girl crowd! The daily devotions are written from a tweens point of view and cover numerous topics that would commonly come up in daily life. Each devotion is only about a page long and explains what the Bible has to say about the certain issue mentioning a life verse to take to heart. It’s a great book and I look forward to more from this author for tweens!
