My Husband’s Thoughts…

I put off this review for a bit because I was wanting to enjoy eating it too but my nausea during my first trimester of pregnancy pretty much prevented that. I didn’t even want to smell the food let along try it because I knew it would have a lot of flavor but I did get my husband to make it for himself and share the following thoughts!

Cooking the Wan Chai dish was simple. I opened the package and put the veggies and meat in a pan and warmed up the sauce in another pan. When that was ready I microwaved the rice, then put the rice and rest side by side in my wife’s bowl and the veggies and meat on top of the rice in my bowl. The food tasted pretty good! The rice was moist and the veggies and meat flavored just about right, not too heavy or light. Also since we are trying to eat healthier, we were glad to note no MSG in the ingredients. If I wanted to get some Chinese food to make at home at a reasonable price, Wan Chai Ferry is a good option for me to choose.

You can print a $1.00/1 Wanchaii Ferry coupon to take with you when you shop in the freezer section of your grocery store.
