How Wheat Works

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Wheat Food Council. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m all for giving back and learning new things, add the two together and nothing could be better! Well, this is exactly what the Wheat Foods Council has done in hopes to teach people exactly How Wheat Works!

The How Wheat Works website is well laid out and very hands on. You’ll find a interactive interface that appeals to the eye and educates the mind, perfect for both young and old. You’ll be taken through the four phases of wheat, growth, harvest, milling/baking and grocer’s aisles.
You’ll be asked to sign up in taking part of the process that last just four days. Why would you want to sign up? Well, for every person that takes a part in learning the process of Wheat,  2 pounds of flour, up to 90,000 pounds, will be donated to Operation Homefront. Operation Homefront is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to needy US troops and their families.

I think this is a fantastic way to teach children about wheat and how taking part in  this program can help families in need. You can also find wheat based recipes, and other helpful information, so why not stop by today!
