I love clothing my sweet little girl in frilly dresses, ruffled tights, lacy leggings, and other cute outfits that would be nothing less than picturesque. These sorts of outfits can be passed on for generations and also make one-of-a-kind portraits that will be treasured as timeless keepsakes.
I came across Eden’s Bouquet and was short on words to say. The pictures of the children in their delightfully vintage inspired apparel is simply inspiring. Each of the collections offered will bring you straight into another time and era! I love that the little girls outfits are feminine in every way of the word and the clothes for the boys are charming and would make any young lad look very handsome.
About Eden’s Bouquet:( from the site)
Nestled in the foothills of Mt. St. Helens, eden’s bouquet is a small business owned and operated by a large family. Created in 2003 and inspired by our eight children, each piece is designed with comfort in mind using a palette of faded colors & earthy tones. Everyone from Grandpa to the baby contribute in some way. The wee one’s job is to simply inspire and she does it for free. Our philosophy is to stay small and concentrate on fine quality & exquisite detail. To create collections that are timeless and without season. We have a “no rules” fashion concept. We say that you can add a jacket and boots to the Spring & Summer collections and wear them for winter. And we do just that. Our heirloom pieces look beautiful all year long. Designs are often drafted from vintage patterns found on treasure hunts, this combined with luxurious fabrics & local production make for a fairytale ending. – Jennifer Stenersen, lead dreamer
I was given the opportunity to review a Gossamer Tie Dress ($62.00) and a pair of Ruffle Leggings ($48.00) from their Cobblestone Line for my daughter and you can only imagine how thrilled I was.
When I came across the Cobblestone Line, my first thoughts were chimney sweep, Mary Poppins, and Oliver Twist. Meant in no wrong way of course. I fell in love with this line as well as many others available. I was quite suprised that they even offer a line that was inspired by their own trip to Oregon!
The Gossamer Tie Dress is adorable. I choose to review it in black though it also come in gray and rose. It’s descriptions reads it as a Wispy cotton lawn dress with petite ruffled hem. Tie closure. The tie closure is wonderful as it allows room for growing and the tie is long enough that I can make a finished bow in whatever size I would like. The Ruffled Leggings are made from a soft cotton, feature a triple petite ruffle on the legs, and come in white, black, and lavender. I like the fact that I can pair these leggings with other tops as well and that each of these pieces are perfect for wear anytime of the year!
