I’d like to say I am thankful for friends this week. I recently met Lindsey from Kindred Spirit’s Thoughts last week. How neat is that?
It was a wonderful discovery to find not only did we live in the same town, but we both have daughter born in May of 2008, we’re both home schooled, and are Christians. Oh yes, and we both love to blog 😉
It’s such an encouragement to make christian friends. I hadn’t really had any friends that I felt like I could talk to or call up since I’ve moved out to Oregon. Those whom I had thought I could were always to busy and never made time. I never felt like I could open and fully honest without becoming judged with them either. It’s my main goal to surround myself and my daughter around good quality people that we can depend on. As we all need someone to talk to as it’s important to have someone to help us to be accountable.
Hebrews 10:24-25- And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another- and all the more as you see the day approaching.
I look forward to seeing our relationship grow, not only just with each other but with God too. 🙂
