Yesterday my husband, daughter, and I went to our local gardening store in means to purchases vegetables to grow this year. Now, we live on the third floor of an apartment complex so my growing is limited just a bit. We purchased two large bags of potting soil, three tomato cages, and a small variety of vegetables. I’ve chosen to plant of the tomato variety, Big Boys, Romas, and Cherry Tomatoes. And of the pepper family, I chose the Golden Summer Bell Peppers.
I’ve helped my family with I was younger with their vegetables gardens and they seemed to flourish wonderfully. I can only hope my luck is just as good. I did have a very beautiful flower garden back when I lived in Georgia filled variations of Day Lilies, marigolds, and more. Flowers are one thing and vegetables are another! I’m hoping for the best!
We will be getting several 5 gallon buckets later this week and then the planting shall begin!
